Restlessminds (Naibaf ja Linda-Lo) kutsuu yleisön 24 tunnin Open the Window for the Storm -performatiiviseen työpajaan Helsingissä Social Choreography Lab Helsingin kutsumana.
Restlessminds on sijoittanut peikot - Naibafin ja Linda-Lon - asuntoon Käpylään, jossa he ovat jo asuneet jonkin aikaa. Restlessminds avaa asunnon 24 tunnin ajaksi yksinomaan vierailijoille ja tarjoaa mahdollisuuden kohdata peikot ja osallistua heidän toimintaansa.
Restlessminds käyttää peikkoja tutkiakseen ”me ja he” -ajattelua sekä ennakkoluuloja, joita syntyy niitä kohtaan, jotka koetaan erilaisiksi tai jotka elävät yhteiskunnan laidoilla. Mitä tapahtuu, kun kohtaamme jonkun, joka ei noudata sosiaalisia koodejamme, puhuu toista kieltä tai käyttäytyy tavoilla, joita emme tunnista? Kuka saa määritellä, mitä pidetään normaalina ja kuka kuuluu joukkoon? Peikoista tulee yhtä aikaa muukalaisia ja isäntiä. Open the Window for the Storm on osa Restlessmindsin jatkuvaa taiteellista tutkimusta, jossa improvisaatio, yleisön osallistuminen ja arvaamattomat kohtaamiset muovaavat teosta.

Vierailijat voivat varata kaksituntisen aikaikkunan vieraillakseen peikkojen luona heidän asunnossaan. Vierailun aikana osallistujat voivat olla vuorovaikutuksessa peikkojen kanssa ja osallistua heidän arkisiin puuhiinsa.
Pidempään viipyä haluaville voi olla tarjolla myös mahdollisuus yöpyä asunnossa. Varattavissa olevat vierailuajat:

A 24-HOUR PERFORMATIVE WORKSHOP IN HELSINKI
Restlessminds (Naibaf and Linda-Lo) invites the public to a 24-hour Open the Window for the Storm performative workshop in Helsinki, at the invitation of Social Choreography Lab Helsinki.
Restlessminds have placed the two trolls - Naibaf and Linda-Lo - in an apartment in Käpylä, where they now have been living for some time. For 24 hours, Restlessminds will open the apartment exclusively to visitors, offering the opportunity to encounter the trolls and participate in their activities.
Restlessminds uses the trolls to explore notions of “us and them” and the prejudices that arise towards those perceived as different or those living on the margins of society. What happens when we spend time with someone who does not follow our social codes, barely speaks the language or behaves in ways we do not recognize? Who gets to define what is considered normal and who belongs? The trolls become both strangers and hosts.

No experience needed, no acting required – just your presence.
Visitors are invited to book a two-hour time slot to visit the trolls in their apartment. During their visit, participants can engage with the trolls and take part in their everyday activities.
For those who wish to extend their stay, there may also be an opportunity to stay overnight. Available visiting slots:
